Course Overview

This course covers physical and human geography to enable a better understanding of the world. Students study topics such as landforms, climate, population, and sustainable development. The curriculum focuses on geographic research, mapping skills, and data interpretation.
Two main areas of focus are environmental concerns and global interdependence. Students are encouraged to be introspective about the human trace on planet Earth. Fieldwork, projects, and case studies apply geographic concepts to actual settings.
