Course Overview

In Grade 7, the course moves into greater performance, writing and understanding in Music and Drama. They look into a range of styles, genres and cultures. Practicing rhythm, melody and harmony with instruments and voice is part of what music students learn. Playing scripts and participating in improvisation with fellow students helps drama students learn to use voice, body language and expression. Activities are driven by the importance of working together and using creativity. Students look at what they achieved and give useful comments to those learning alongside them.
