Course Overview

This course builds a strong foundation of mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies. Number systems, algebra, geometry, data handling, and measurement are covered. Logical reasoning, real-world applications, and inquiry-based learning are highlighted. Practical activities, investigations, and group work are experienced by the students. Critical thinking, accuracy, and persistence are fostered by the course. The course is in line with IB philosophies in that it promotes international-mindedness and lifelong learning through mathematics study.
