Course Overview

The course is intended to foster students’ independent reading and research skills. It introduces students to library organization, including locating and evaluating different sources. Students will study diverse literary genres to promote understanding and critical thinking. The most important focus is developing a love for reading and the use of ethical information. Learners will practice summarizing, note-taking, and citation skills. Inquiry-based learning is made possible through the course within IB philosophy.
