Course Overview
During Grade 6 Physical Education, students are encouraged to increase their fitness, gain control over body movements, and work together on different sporting events. Games help students strengthen their skills in football, basketball, and athletics. Learning in the curriculum supports personal diet and fitness, as well as setting personal goals. At practice, everyone works to uphold fair rules, be respectful, and lead by example. Students discover why it is necessary to warm up and cool down, as well as how to notice their bodies during exercises. Practicing often makes your body stronger and helps your movements become easier.
