Course Overview
In Grade 5 Personal and Social Well-being, students work on basic skills needed for emotional and social growth. They focus on lessons related to knowing yourself, relating to others, respecting others and responsible decisions. Children in the program learn how to relate well to their classmates, cooperate and work out disagreements together. Ways to mange stress, build confidence and avoid dangers are shared with students. The lessons promote open talks and allow everyone to reflect on their own thoughts. The organization places a big emphasis on values, ethics and contributing to the community.
