Course Overview

In Grade 5 Geography IBSL, the physical and human geography of the world is discovered by the student. Students discover the landforms, climates, and natural resources of various regions. Students are taught direction, map reading, and simple geographic instruments. Students learn how humans use the environment and the effects of human action. The lessons instill interest in world cultures and regions. Spatial literacy and further understanding of the world are established through this foundation.
