Course Overview
The course for Grade 10 Physical Sciences increases knowledge of physics and chemistry through study and practical work. Topics studied by students are motion, energy, magnetism, chemical reactions, and the periodic table. Science instruction in many places now centers on conducting experiments, making accurate observations, and studying data. Doing lab work supports understanding and encourages students to think critically. This course relates the principles of science to actual uses in the world. It introduces science in a way that will help students continue to the next level and spark their interest in the physical world.
