Course Overview
Students in Grade 10 Life Sciences learn more about life and the systems that form living things. The subjects covered are genetic, evolutionary, reproductive and responses to environmental conditions. Experiments and diagrams help students study the roles of cells, different physiological systems in the body and the variety of life forms. Critical thinking, scientific investigation and observing are key skills stressed in this course. Examples from real life center around health issues, protecting nature and living sustainably. It helps pupils prepare for more advanced biology and makes them better informed about the world we live in.
