Course Overview
This course explains the basic concepts of Chemistry that are part of the Cambridge AS Level curriculum. Students look into the structure of atoms, the ways molecules bond, the organization of the periodic table, and the rules of stoichiometry. The course combines studying ideas with learning how to use laboratory tools. Energetics, kinetics, and equilibria are some of the topics that help explain chemical behavior. Students in organic chemistry are introduced to hydrocarbons, functional groups, and the ways reactions occur. Experiments in the lab help students understand concepts and improve their science skills. Data analysis, problem-solving, and scientific communication are taught to students. The course provides a good base for further studies in Chemistry and similar subjects.
