Course Overview

This course covers the basic ideas and methods of financial and managerial accounting. Students study important topics such as double-entry bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and analyzing how the business is doing. The curriculum puts a strong focus on accuracy, understanding accounting information, and ethical financial reporting. They learn how to manage ledgers, journals, and final accounts by working on them. Some of the subjects are capital and revenue expenditure, depreciation, valuing inventory, and budgeting.
