Course Overview

In Grade 9 English, students improve their abilities to read, write, speak and listen.They analyze many types of texts such as fiction, non-fiction, poetry and drama from various cultures.Literary analysis, critical thinking and expressing ideas clearly are given importance.Students improve their vocabulary, grammar and understanding by doing structured activities.Working on creative and formal writing assignments improves a person’s confidence and communication abilities.The course prepares students well for IGCSE English and for doing well in school.
