Course Overview

In Grade 10, Geography begins with a study of the physical world and the way people use their land, climate and resources. Some topics students check out include urbanization, natural calamities and regularly used resources through the use of maps, graphs and case studies. Maps and analysis of data help researchers study actual issues. Students learn how people interact with the environment. Both field trips and projects play a role in teaching young people to think critically. The course provides an understanding of cities and the world in their context.
