Course Overview
This course introduces Grade 5 students to the principles of simple machines, such as levers, pulleys, and wheels. Students learn how these machines make work easier and explore their uses in everyday life. Through hands-on activities, learners design and create their own simple machines, applying basic principles of physics and engineering. The course also emphasizes design thinking, where students learn to identify problems, brainstorm solutions, and prototype ideas. By encouraging creativity and problem-solving, this course nurtures an interest in engineering and sets the stage for more advanced technological studies.
